He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Carter and Blanche Carter; his siblings, Charles (Sarah), Kenneth (Joan), Gordon, Alexander, Patricia Ann, Josephine (Ben), Grace and Laura; his parents-in-law, Francis and Phoebe Kenny; and his siblings-in-law, Desmond Kenny (Jo), Austin, Gus and Sheila Connolly (Burge).
He is survived by: his wife Norma M. M.; his children, Norma Cove (AB), Barry (ON), Dwaine (Petty Harbour), Pam Rickert (Paradise) and Sandy (Pasadena); his grandchildren, Chad (AB), RJ Duke (Paradise), Kyle (Jillian Cove), Brittany (Brandon Carter), Rebecca (Brian Carter), Brandon and Logan (Jacob); his great grandchildren, Harlow and Cruz (AB); his siblings, Ben (US) and Barbara Snow (ON); his children, Tony Bidgood, Canon Iliffe Sheppard and Herbert; his brothers, Fred and Ken; and his grandchildren, Brian and Jillian. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers donations in his memory may be made to the SPCA, Saint Vincent de Paul – Corpus Christi Conference or a charity of one's choice.
