It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jim Billard of Kilbride, Newfoundland, born in Grand Bruit, Newfoundland, who passed away on November 17, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas and Melida. He is survived by: his wife Lois; his children, Jamie (Melissa) and Carol (Patrick); his grandchildren, Amber, Sammy and Aiden; his siblings, Clarence (Barbara), Clyde (Cindy), Maisie (Roland), Doreen (Lester) and Vera (Wes); his siblings-in-law, Gordan (Linda), Keith (Connie) and Verna (Wince); his nephew Johnathan Billard; his siblings, Emily (Clyde Pardy), Evelyn (Roy Herridge), Mona (Don Billard) and Clayton (Jackie); his parents-in-law, Arther and Mildred Farrell; and his sister-in-law Pat Sloan (Gord).
Visitation was held on Friday, November 21st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Barrett's Funeral Homes - St. John's (328 Hamilton Ave, St. John's, NL A1E1J9). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Barrett's Chapel (328 Hamilton Ave, St. John's, NL A1E1J9).
