She was predeceased by: her parents, Maxwell Steele and Edna Steele; her brother Morley Steele; and her brothers-in-law, Wilfred Quinlan and Patrick Turner.
She is survived by: her siblings, Marie Quinlan (Howard), Anne Fudge (Barry), Joyce Turner (Charlie), Maxine Johnson (Ken), Bernice Nash (Mark), Morris Steele (Kathie) and Roxanne Turner (Johnny); her sister-in-law Christine Steele; and her caregiver Connie Wellon.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 31st 2026 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Pentecostal Church (244 Main St, Birchy Bay, NL A0G3A0). A funeral service was held on Sunday, February 1st 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
