She was predeceased by: her husband Gabriel; her parents, Edward Purchase and Myrtle Purchase; her parents-in-law, William and Margaret Fleming; her siblings, Richard, Lucy, Ruth, Charles and Harriett; her siblings-in-law, Geraldine, Nora and Adrien; her great grandchildren, Charles and Oliver; Bibiana and Grace.

She is survived by: her children, Melvin Purchase (Donna), Newman Purchase (Caroline), Margaret Hynes (Bill), Bill Fleming (Sherri), Earl Fleming (Patsy), Karen Murphy (Calvin), Aiden Fleming (Geraldine), Tim Fleming (Roxanne), Terry Fleming (Yvonne), Roger Fleming (Carol-Ann), Roxanne Bonnell (Darrell) and Colette Haley (Joe); her brothers, Lester Purchase (Hazel) and Jim Purchase (Marion); her siblings-in-law, Marcel Fleming (Roberta), Florence Walsh (Gus) and Collette Fleming; her close friends, Lill Maddigan and Mary; her caregiver Dr. Chia; her daughters, Donna and Mary; and her friend Bernie. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.

In Marina's memory donations may be made to St. Joseph's Cemetery Committee or the Burin Peninsula SPCA, or flowers will be gratefully accepted.
