She was predeceased by : her husband Ralph Lidstone; her parents, George Pike and Susannah Pike; her parents-in-law, Theophilus and Annie Lidstone; her grandson Bruce Lidstone; her daughter-in-law Marion Lidstone; and her siblings, Daffodil, Sylvia, Joseph, Wesley, Lesley and Eugene.

She is survived by : her children, Everett (Joan), Bruce (Therese), Wayne, Harold (Judy), Beverly, Robert (Judy), Eric, Karen (Sam), Eugene and Kimberley (Shawn); her grandchildren, Huey, Joanne, Barbara, Lisa, Terri-Lynn, Chadwick, Diane, Justin, Jamie, Jeanette, Bobbi, Harold, Calen, Bradley, Shane and Drew; her brother George (Wanda); her sisters-in-law, Dorothy and Mildred; and her caregivers, Wanda Sheppard, Kim Herritt, Judy Lidstone and Angela Lidstone. She is also survived by 24 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren.

As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted, or a donation can be made to the St. James Anglican Church fund in Vera's memory.
