We are sad to announce that on May 19, 2026, Elaine Marie (Tarrant) Roberts (Lawn, Newfoundland) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her son Scott Turpin; her former husband Robert Turpin (Bob); her parents, David Tarrant and Catherine Tarrant; her aunt Marjorie; and her uncle Robert Lambe.
She is survived by: her husband John Roberts; her daughter Lisa Turpin of Calgary, AB; her siblings, Yvonne Crewe (Murray), Melanie Edwards (Gary), David Hayman (Tammy) and Greg Tarrant (Gilles); her uncle Greg Tarrant; her stepchildren, John Roberts (Debbie), Roger Roberts (Wanda) and Karen Bennett (Kirk); and her close friends, Dana Legge, Loyola Clarke and Sheri Slaney.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 26th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Jesus Church. A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, May 27th 2026 at 2:30 PM at the Jesus Roman Catholic Church.
In Elaine's memory, donations may be made to The Grace Sparkes House or to the Holy Name of Jesus Cemetery Fund or flowers gratefully accepted.
