She was predeceased by: her husband Thomas Strang; her son-in-law Roger Pike; her parents, Edward Edwards and Evelina Edwards; her parents-in-law, George and Rosalie Strang; and her brothers, Ted and Mike Edwards.

She is survived by: her children, Arlette Strang and Kent Strang (Felicia) of Lawn; her grandchildren, Logan, Nathaniel, Chance and Ryder; her siblings, Violet Edwards of Lawn, Alice Edwards of Ontario, Margaret Farrell (Bern) of Marystown, Muriel Strang (Gary) of Lawn, Evelina Edwards of Lawn, Charlene Roul (Boyd) of Lawn, Arnold Edwards (Clara) of Saskatoon, Fred Edwards (Joan) of Lawn and Terry Edwards of Marystown; and her sisters-in-law, Madeline Edwards of Lawn and Christina Edwards of Point May.
