He was predeceased by: his parents, John Rogers and Marie Rogers; his parents-in-law, Edward, Kathleen Roul and Joseph Michael Drake; his sisters, Mary Cecilia and Catherine; his siblings-in-law, Ernest Drake, Freeman Roul, Paul Clarke, Cyril Flannigan, Edward Edwards, Anna Mary Drake and Eileen Walsh; and his grandson Michael Ebadi.
He is survived by: his wife Ellen; his children, James Rogers (Stephanie), Darryl Rogers (Marion) of St. John's and Lorna Ebadi (Adel) of Edmonton, Alberta; his grandchildren, Kathleen, Ethan, Ellen, Aselin, Dylan, Leila, Shawn and Lucas; his siblings, Peter Rogers (Rose) of Paradise and Jeanne MacDonald (John) of New Waterford; and his siblings-in-law, Mercedes Clarke, Laura Flannigan (Fred), Madeline Edwards, Sue Tarrant (Andy), Kathy Roul (Mario), Esther Roul, William Roule (Eileen), Robert Roul (Gerry) and Carl Walsh.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his memory to the breakfast program at Holy Name of Mary Academy, Lawn.
