He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Edwards and Jean Edwards; his sisters, Myra Drake and Esther Edwards; his parents-in-law, David and Elizabeth Anne Drake; and his siblings-in-law, Augustine Drake, Ernest Drake, Fred Cox, Bill Lockyer, Charles Pretty, Don Pretty, Christina Cox and Ellen Mary Drake.
He is survived by: his wife Catherine Edwards; his children, Evan, Lola (Angela), Damien, Stuart and Kenny; his grandchildren, Ryley, Kyle, Brandon, Devon, Cameron and Connor; his great grandchild Xavier; his siblings, Phyllis, Marina (Kevin), Pearl (Henry), Heather, Karen (Dan), Claudia (Daren), Clyde (Sylvia), Wayne and Lloyd; and his siblings-in-law, Dave Drake (Helen), Mike Drake (Betty), James Drake (Sharon), Bertha Pretty, Rose Lockyer, Elizabeth Pretty and Christine Drake.
