He was predeceased by: his father Donald Hannam; his father-in-law Richard Rowsell; his grandparents, Theodore, Melina Haggett, Elijah and Minnie Hannam; his niece Kayla Dawe; and his nephews, Dustin Fudge and Jonathan Buckley.

He is survived by: his wife Vanessa; his children, Dwayne Hannam (Shauna-Lyn) and Jenelle Burton (Matthew); his mother Joan Hannam; his mother-in-law Theresa Rowsell; his siblings, Brenda Lee (Felix), Lucretia Buckley (Wade), Austin (Debbie), Freeman, Larry (Lona), Donald (Marilyn), Craig (Sue Ann), Eugene (Danielle) and Woodrow (Pauline); and his grandchildren, Mekhi, Luke, Kooper, Denver and Presley. He is also survived by his five grandchildren.
