She was predeceased by: her husband William; and her son Harold. She is survived by: her children, Diane Chorney (Darrel) of Fort St, David Mitchell (Deana), Tom Mitchell (Victoria) and Jerry Mitchell (Gertrude) of St. John's; her grandchildren, Krista Peregoodoff (David), Emma Mitchell and Lane Mitchell; her siblings, George Haskell, Leslie Haskell, Myrna Keats (Baxter) and Beatrice Howse (Joe); and her sisters-in-law, Esther Mitchell and Margaret Biggar.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the St. Mark's Anglican Church (203 Logy Bay Rd, St. John's, NL A1A3T7). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Hope United Cemetery.
