He was predeceased by: his parents, Maxwell Moyles and Olive Moyles; his former wife Pearl; his brothers, Cluny and Gary; and his son-in-law Roy Curlew.
He is survived by: his wife Veta; his daughters, Linda Curlew, Debbie (Derek Fudge), Heidi Dawe (Ray Murphy) and Christa (Jamie Hanrahan); his grandchildren, Chad (Cyndi), Jody, Janine (Andrew), Tyler, Travis, Parker, James, Jayden and Reed; his great grandchildren, Jacob, Jace, Kylie, Kinsley, Kevin, Paisley and Lochlan; his brother Orville (Eileen); and his sisters-in-law, Helen and Karen Moyles.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Gordon Woolfrey Funeral Home (262 Main St, Lewisporte, NL A0G3A0). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the St. Matthew's United Church (120 Main St, Lewisporte, NL A0G3A0).
As expressions of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, donations to Project Renewal St. Matthews Church, or The Residence Friendship Club at the Lewisporte Health Center would be gratefully accepted.
