With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Austin Neil Holmes (Lewisporte, Newfoundland), who passed away on December 1, 2025 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Holmes and Melinda Holmes; his brother Melvin (Lillian); and his brothers-in-law, Eli, Reg and Leaving.
He is survived by: his nibling Jody (Sherri); his daughters, Pauline (Shawn) and GinaLee (Jeff); his grandchildren, Jaylie, Rebecca, Ashton, Bella, Ava and Mya; his siblings, Frances, Betty (Roy), Daphne (Dave), Max (Lorraine) and Calvin (Lila); and his niece Kelly. He is also survived by friends, including numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
As expressions of sympathy donations can be made to The Lionel Kelland Hospice in GFW or a charity of your choice, would be greatly appreciated by the family.
