He was predeceased by: his father Poppy (Edmund). He is survived by: his wife Grace Hodder; his son Alvin Hodder (Jane); his grandchildren, Walter Hodder (Sandy), Barbara Painchaud (Chris), Lori Hodder (Brian), Amanda Hodder and Mervin Junior Hodder (Natasha); Randy Hodder (Christine), Mervin Hodder (Angela) and Glenda Hodder (Mark). He is also survived by his great grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM.

Donations may be made in his memory to the Pentecostal Church Building Fund in Stoneville.
