He was predeceased by: his parents, Eli Jewer (Bill) and Betty Jewer; his parents-in-law, Archibald and Rosie Elliott; his sister Gail Boone; his sister-in-law Rosemary; his sons, David and Bradford Elliott; and his uncle Owen Coates (Steve Fudge).
He is survived by: his wife Sheila Elliott; his children, Lisa (Sheldon), Yvonne (Boyde), Melissa (Jamie), Cassie (Dalton), Loreen (Justin), Candace (Chris) and Gregory; his close friend Bruce Taylor; his grandchildren, Olivia, Logan, Caden, Natalie, Mason, Kianna, Lucas, Leah, Colton, Jax, Georgie, Charles and Emmett; and his siblings, Jean Jewer (Bill Hutchison), Doug Jewer (Ann), Bob Jewer and Joanne Palmer (Dwyane).
Visitation was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Hoskins Funeral Home (271 Main St, Lewisporte, NL A0G3A0). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM.
