He was predeceased by : his parents, Bernice Bailey and Frank Bailey; and his sisters, Stephanie and Audrey Bailey. He is survived by : his wife Cavelle; his daughters, Petrina Scammell (Rene), Stephanie Meserve (Brian) and Rebecca Brinson (Evan); his grandchildren, Dylan (Sarah), Katelyn, Patrick, Noah, Wilson and Rose; his siblings, Frank (Phylis), Keith (Karen), Anthony (Cheryl), Ian (Monica), Sylvia, Frances and Eleanor (Peter Bowering); and his in-laws, Pansy Porter (Hubert), David Martin (Doreen), Lloyd Martin (Marlene), Elaine Young (Wade) and Bruce Martin (Marilyn). He is also survived by uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces & great-nieces, nephews & great-nephews; special friends, church family, neighbors.

In Lieu of flowers donations may be made in Gordon's memory, to the church office, to the Timothy Fund for needy students at Pan Africa Christian University in Nairobi, Kenya, Africa.

“To Cavelle and family We were so sorry to hear of Gordon’s passing. He was a wonderful person and friend to many and he loved his family very much, which showed during our conversations from time to time. Gordon had a deep love for Jesus and when talking to him he was not shy in sharing his love and faith for his Lord. We will be praying for you Cavelle and your family in the coming days.
