With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joe Barry Wells (Lewisporte, Newfoundland), who passed away on May 31, 2025 at the age of 67. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bert Wells and Madeline Wells; his brother Reg Wells; his parents-in-law, Marius and Margaret Parent; and his brother-in-law Bruce Parent.
He is survived by: his wife Jane Wells; his children, Peter Wells and Amanda Rice (Jeremy); his sisters, Moreen Frenette (Peter), Carol Peyton and Roxanne Evans (Walter); his siblings-in-law, Line Wells, Louise Moris (Jim), Michelle Parent, Lorna Parent, Jill Emiry (Marc), Paul Parent (Kathy), Patrick Parent (Shelly), Phillip Parent and Marcel Parent (Pierette); and his grandchildren, Max, Andrew and Maddie.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Hoskins Funeral Home (271 Main St, Lewisporte, NL A0G3A0). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
