She was predeceased by: her siblings, Maxine and Shawn; and her grandparents, Gilbert, Marjorie Day and James Lawrence.
She is survived by: her parents, Max Day and Frances Day; her grandmother Lillian Lawrence; her children, Amanda (Nelson) and Trevor (Rebecca); her grandchildren, Liam, Logan and Leeyah; and her nephew Jesse Bird.
