She was predeceased by: her parents, Edmund Boyd and Martha Boyd; her husband Oliver Small of Lewisporte; her grandson Walter Baxter Ted; her sons-in-law, Jeff Manuel and Gerald Freake; and her brother-in-law Albert Locke.
She is survived by: her children, Bruce Small (Shirley), Joanne, Michele Small (Alan Strand) and Patricia (John Briscoe); her grandchildren, Mark, Andy (Nadia), Tesa (Stephen), Noah (Haley), Jay (Michelle) and Jessica (Greg); her great grandchildren, Austin, Aryana, Asher and Keira; and her close friend Betty Hynes. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
As expressions of sympathy flowers or donations to the Canadian Red Cross will be gratefully accepted.
