We are sad to announce that, on September 23, 2025, at the age of 92, Melvin Arthur Alfred Maxwell Doyle Ginn of Lewisporte, Newfoundland, born in Comfort Cove-Newstead, Newfoundland passed away. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Ginn and Welhemina Ginn of Comfort Cove, NL; his wife Mabel (Canning); his siblings, Cecil, Walter, Lewis, George, Glendon, Winston, Dorothy, Agnes, Ida and Myrtle; his grandson Tyson Fudge; and his sons-in-law, Gordon Warford and Donald Mills.

He is survived by: his children, Daphne Snow (Roy), Jeff (Janice), Wanda Mills, Myra Gillingham (Gwynn), Goldie Fudge (Robert) and Kitty Warford; his grandchildren, Royan, Rochelle, Jesse, Natasha, Danielle, Bradley, Sheldon and Trent; and his great grandchildren, Mason Harnett, Liam, Taylor, Mason Warford, Jack, Oliver, Wesley and Alice. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
