It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melvin Jacobs (Lewisporte, Newfoundland), who passed away on October 25, 2019, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Jacobs and Margaret Jacobs; his brother Sterling Jacobs; and his brother-in-law Martin Humphries. He is survived by: his wife Joyce; his sons, Robert Jacobs (Tammy), Michael Jacobs (Paula) and Sheldon Jacobs (Daniele); his grandchildren, Mikaela, Clark, Danyael, Gabrielle, Alexa Courtney (Bill), Nathaniel, Nicholas, Marc and Griffin; his siblings, Alice Brown (Willis), Aaron Jacobs (Joan), Gordon Jacobs (Joan), Willis Jacobs (Marilyn), Elizabeth Humphries, Clyde Jacobs (Christine), Pauline Barnes (Frank), Seymour Jacobs (Barbra), Donna Baker (Arthur) and Edna Gray (Jerry); and his sister-in-law Doris Jacobs.
