She was predeceased by: her parents, Alonzo Brett and Jessie Brett (Hewitt); her parents-in-law, Baxter and Meta Jessie Freake; and her siblings-in-law, Gerald Freake, Reginald Freake, Robert Pullen, Glen Newland, Pearce Nicholas and Rhona Freake.
She is survived by: her husband Fred; her siblings, Arlene Miles (Paul) and Gary (Elizabeth); her nieces, Ashley, Danielle and Brittany; her nephew Shawn; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Miles, Jacob, Elise, Oliver, Sage, Aleaha and Abigail; her stepchildren, Jason (Jacqueline) and Shelley (Pat); her grandchildren, Olivia, Nathan, Benjamin, Matthew, Logan and Evan; and her sister-in-law Lorna. She is also survived by extended family and friends.
Donations in Michelle's memory may be made to the Special Care Unit of Lakeside Homes, Gander, in honour of the angelic care they offer daily.
