It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Myrtle Hoddinott (Lewisporte, Newfoundland), who passed away on June 30, 2021, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Cecil; her parents, Allan Collins and Irene Collins; and her siblings, Armorel (Ralph Day), Eric Collins (Eloise), Jean (Roland King) and Llewellyn Collins.
She is survived by: her children, Lorraine (Chester Walker) and Allan (Nancy); her grandchildren, Craig (Martina), Christa (Dean), Melissa (Chris), Amanda (Joey) and Adam (Maggie); her great grandchildren, Jarod, Emily, Ellis, Aiden, Avery, Logan, Molly and Jack; and her sister-in-law Phyllis. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
The public visitation will take place from Gordon Woolfrey Funeral Home, 262 Main Street, Lewisporte on Friday, July 2, 2021 from 2-4 PM following COVID government regulations.
The interment will follow at St. Matthew's United Church Cemetery, Lewisporte, NL As expressions of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation will be gratefully accepted.
