He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Porter and Lillian Porter; and his sister Vera Conway. He is survived by: his wife Nellie; his children, Cathy (Clyde), Chris and Corey (Krista); his grandchildren, Dallas, Lily, Kaylee and Aleah; his great grandchildren, Emily, Destiny and Jake; his brother Scott (Sandra); and his nieces and nephews, Sherri-Lyn, Jason and Dean.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Gordon Woolfrey Funeral Home (262 Main St, Lewisporte, NL A0G3A0). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the United Church.
