Robert Bruce Porter Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 12, 2025, Robert Bruce Porter (Lewisporte, Newfoundland) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Robert has departed this earthly realm, his legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May his spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Porter and Lydia Porter; and his brother Neil. He is survived by: his wife Louise; and his siblings, Marion Forsey, Roger Porter (Ina) and Beth Gillingham (Clayton). He is also survived by nephews and other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Maranatha Pentecostal Tabernacle. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM. A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at the United Cemetery.
As expressions of sympathy donations may be made in his memory to the United Church Cemetery Fund.
