He was predeceased by : his parents, Myles Hanlon (Bowaters) and Edna Hanlon; his brothers, Roy, Gerry, Herb and Gary; his nephew Roy Hanlon; and his brothers-in-law, Wilson Rowsell and Reginald Brace.

He is survived by : his wife Grace Walbourne; his children, Jody (Lynda), Danny (Minerva) and Paula (Mike Mallay); his granddaughters, Morgan Hanlon, McCailey and Keegan Mallay; his siblings, Rex (Maxine), Leona Rowsell, Shirley Brace and Verna (Craig Hayter); his sisters-in-law, June and Marguerite; and his poker buddies, Don, Dave, Ed and Chris. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
