She was predeceased by: her husband Max; her parents, Edwin Hillier and Irene Hillier; and her siblings, Stanley, Wilfred and Margaret.
She is survived by: her children, Maxine Woolfrey (Barry), Dennis (Florence), Barry (Alice) and David Porter (Alma); her brother Lloyd Hillier (Isabelle); her sister-in-law Meta Hillier; her grandchildren, Jody Woolfrey (Joanne), Heather Beaton (Geoff), Denise Stuckless (Steve), Darryl Porter, Michael Porter (Natalie), Jenna Manuel (Trevor), Dylan Porter (Jill) and Sarah Porter; her great grandchildren, Amelia, Martha, Grace, Caleb, Cayden, Kaitlyn, Tara, Hannah, Brett and Ben; and her friend Vera.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Gordon Woolfrey Funeral Home (262 Main St, Lewisporte, NL A0G3A0). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the United Church.
As expressions of sympathy, flowers or donations to the Porterville United Church will be gratefully accepted.
