He was predeceased by: his parents, George Manuel and Maud Manuel; his in-laws, Cecil and Meda Simms; his brothers, Harold and Roy; his brother-in-law Eric Simms; and his nephew Troy Manuel.
He is survived by: his wife Verna; his children, Shelley (Dave) and Stephen (Elizabeth); his grandchildren, Alex (Neeve), Sydney (Sam) and Michael; his sisters-in-law, Margaret Manuel, Fannie Simms and Noreen Manuel; and his friend Joan Hoffe.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 10th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the St. Matthew's United Church (120 Main St, Lewisporte, NL A0G3A0). A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 11th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Gordon Woolfrey Funeral Home (262 Main St, Lewisporte, NL A0G3A0).
