With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Walter Payne (Lewisporte, Newfoundland), born in Fogo, Newfoundland, who passed away on December 23, 2022 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Walter Payne and Jessie Payne; his wife Kathleen; and his siblings, Ambrose, Henry, George, Garland, Arthur, Eric, Harriett, Marie, Florence, Naomi and Gladys.

He is survived by : his children, Beverly Walbourne (Angus), Nina Kinden (Neil), Valarie Blundon (Steve), Pansy Ford (Marshall), Corey Payne and Tracy Burke (Gary). He is also survived by his 15 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews other relatives and life long friends.
