William Baker Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Baker (Lewisporte, Newfoundland), who passed away on May 19, 2026, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Levi Baker and Daisy Baker; his wife Marjorie Joyce; his children, Kenneth and Caroline Scott; his brothers, Jack, Howard and Clyde; his stepbrother Cyril; and his sister Doris Clarke.
He is survived by: his children, Marjorie Dawe (George), Carl (Anna), Wilfred (Herma), Valerie Nippard (Baxter), Kimberly Nippard (Maurice) and Melissa; his brother Larry Baker; his daughter-in-law Mabel; his sisters-in-law, Verna Baker and Sadie Rimmer; and his son-in-law Randy Scott. He is also survived by his 17 grandchildren, 34 great -grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren.
