He was predeceased by: his parents, Atwood Brett and Clementine "Minnie" Brett; his wife Brenda Loder; his brothers, Lloyd, Harvey and Scott; his in-laws, Mary and George Loder; and his siblings-in-law, Kathy Loder, Hubert Hollett and Jack Brenson.
He is survived by: his children, Kimberley (Mark Penney), Christopher (Mary) and Kent (Kay); his grandchildren, Leah, Claire, Owen, Olivia, Chelsea and Samantha; his sister Mildred Brenson; his siblings-in-law, Marilyn (Dave Howell), Roxanne Hollett, Debbie Loder, Dave Loder (Ella), Craig Loder (Roxanne) and Paul Loder (Sherry); his close friends, Major Kay Barnes (Morris), Pleasantview Manor, Jennifer, Nicole, Nora, Amanda, Alicia, Denise, Kelly and Sammy; Harry, Perci, Finn and Louie. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 10th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Gordon Woolfrey Funeral Home (262 Main St, Lewisporte, NL A0G3A0). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 11th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at 110 Bob Clark Dr, Campbellton, NL A0G1L0. A burial was held on Tuesday, November 11th 2025 at the Salvation Army Cemetery.
No flowers by request; donations in Wilson's memory may be made to the Lionel Kelland Hospice in Grand Falls-Windsor.
