She was predeceased by : her mother Dorothy Pye; her grandparents, George and Alice Pye; her in-laws, Cecil and Viola Pye; and her son-in-law Craig Rumbolt.

She is survived by : her husband Malcolm; her children, Dorothy (Brian), Lorna (Craig), Bonnie, Katherine (Scott), Gracie (Sheldon) and Brad (Christa); her grandchildren, Megan, Shane, Brittany, Cameron, Crystal, Amber, Kassidy, Blake, Mariah, Ariana, Adriana, Spencer, Hunter and Anderson; and her great grandchildren, Sebastian, Clyde, Dylan, Mariah Charlotte, Samuel, Rohan, Arrow, Aurora and Fabian.

As expressions of sympathy donations will be graciously accepted for the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation, Verna's charity of choice. All donations will be forwarded by her family in her memory.
