The passing of Elizabeth Flynn (Lourdes, Newfoundland) leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on October 27, 2025 at the age of 94. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ignatius Ward and Mary Ward (White); her husbands, Mathias Lainey and Gerry; her siblings, Susan James, Ignatius, Jack and Fidelis; her siblings-in-law, May Ward and George James; her daughter-in-law Donna Lainey; and her pet Spot.
She is survived by: her children, Beverley Eveleigh (Eldon), Deborah Sweezie (Harvie), Fidelis, Wade (Gwen), Chad (Belinda), Norbert and Wendel (Julie); her stepchildren, Leroy (Cathy), Roxanne Rowsell (Otto), Rhonda Coll (Steve), Lori Flynn-MacIsaac and Kim (Watson); her grandchildren, Robert, Shanna, Matthew, Timothy, Lindsey, Leanna, Adam, Jacob, Maria and Joy; her great grandchildren, Scott, Hudson, Brody, Ruby, Cooper, Regan, Jake, Gabriel and Gia; and her sisters-in-law, Martha Ward and Edna Ward. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:15 PM at the Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church. A burial will be held on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 12:45 PM at the Tea Cove R. C Cemetery.
