It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Duffenais (Lourdes, Newfoundland), who passed away on June 9, 2025, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Martina; his parents, Leo Sr. Duffenais and Emily Duffenais; and his brother Leo Jr.. He is survived by: his daughters, Michelle (Mike), Beverly (Paul), Samantha (Travis) and Amanda (Kaden); his grandchildren, Chelsey, Ashley, Cody (Katie) and Chloe; his great grandchildren, Hudson and Isabella; and his siblings, John (Marie), Louis (Virginia), Jerry, Patrick, Norman, Paul, Marg, Wanda, Joanne (Darryl) and Leverna. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family.
A rosary will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the Our Lady of Lourdes Church (78 Main St, Lourdes, NL A0N1R0). Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Our Lady of Lourdes Parish (78 Main St, Lourdes, NL A0N1R0). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
