She was predeceased by : her husband Albert; her parents, William John and Martha May Thorne; and her siblings, Ambrose (Matilda), Annie May Gillingham (Samuel), Eleanor Riggs and Jane Benson (Wallace).
She is survived by : her daughter Gladys Sparkes (late Melvin); her grandchildren, Harvey Sparkes (Jennifer) and Sylvia Sparkes (Cecil Dyke); her great grandchildren, Najaula (Dawson), Logan and Liam; her sister Gertie Gillingham (late Thomas); her brother-in-law Wilfred Riggs (Bay); and her close friend Bertha Sparkes.
