She was predeceased by: her parents, William Garland and Lillian Garland; her parents-in-law, Lockhart and Pearl Clarke; her sisters, Florence LeShane and Mabel Sparkes; and her siblings-in-law, Geri Garland and Philip LeShane.
She is survived by: her husband John; her siblings, Fred, Gordon (Peggy) and Jacqueline Gilbert (Ike); her siblings-in-law, Linda Anstey (Bill), Beverly Coombs (Pat) and Philip Sparkes; her great-niece Avery Pittman; and her close friend Alma Blundon (Chum).
Due to her love of animals, in lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to an animal charity of one's choice.
