He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter and Eliza; his brothers, John (Anne) and Charl (Joan); his son-in-law Tony Snelgrove; and his great grandchild Levi.

He is survived by: his wife Joyce; his children, Tina (Terry) and Scott (Sheri); his grandchildren, Tyler (Megan), Ryan (Becca), Kyle (Abbey), Mitchell (Maleaha), Naomi, Victor and Christian; his great grandchildren, Jordyn and Daxten; and his siblings, Fred (Virginia), Paul (Janice), Clyde (Doreen), Myrtle Manual (late Cyril), Mable Andrews (late Dave) and Ruby Woodcock (late Bill).

In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to his family.
