He was predeceased by: his siblings, Howard Dober (Kathleen) of Marystown and Susanna Ducey of Marystown; his parents, Richard Dober and Laura Dober; his sons-in-law, Beaton Walsh and David Matiuschuk; and his parents-in-law, Austin and Angela Drake.
He is survived by: his wife Lillian; his children, John Dober (Christina) of Fort McMurray, AB, Lisa Dober of Mount Pearl, Glenn Dober (Nikki) of Fort McMurray, AB, Richard Dober of Marystown, Debbie Walsh of Marystown, Anne Matiuschuk of Niagra Falls, ON and Patricia Power (Brendan) of Spanish Room; his grandchildren, Richard, Jillian (Brandon), Cailey (Andrew), Chloe (Nick), Jason, Jennifer (Brad) and Scott; and his sisters-in-law, Marie Dober and Theresa Dober.
