He was predeceased by: his wife Mabel; his grandson Chad Mitchell; his parents, Ernest Mullins and Philomena Mullins; his stepfather George Brake; his parents-in-law, Albert and Rebecca Jorgensen; his brother Robert Mullins; and his siblings-in-law, Levi Jorgensen, Margaret Kilfoy and Hazel Jorgensen.
He is survived by: his children, Joanne Mitchell (Alje) of Marystown, Elaine Nyffenegger (Al) of Marystown, David Mullins of Edmonton, Lisa MacLeod (Angus) of Marystown and Darrell Mullins (Arlene Dumont) of Whitehorse; his grandchildren, Christopher, Curtis, Scott, Robyn, Tyler, Abigail, Anna, Alex and Jenelle; his great grandchildren, Hayden, Colton, Karma, Declan, Armani, Mason, Amaya, Khai, Jaedyn, Savannah and Avacyn; his siblings, Ernest Mullins (Shirley), Eugene Mullins (Genny) and Kay Mullins (Linda Pelley); and his siblings-in-law, Edna O'Reilly, Blanche Planke (George), Russell Jorgensen, Alvin Jorgensen (Bonnie), Shela Jorgensen and Chester Kilfoy. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 6th 2026 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Monday, September 7th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Wiseman's Funeral Home - Creston South (Peninsula Funeral Home) (4 Markland Rd, Creston, NL A0E1K0). The inurnment was held on Monday, September 7th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the St. Michael's & St. Mary's Anglican Cemetery. A funeral service was held on Monday, September 7th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Wiseman's Funeral Home - Creston South (Peninsula Funeral Home) (4 Markland Rd, Creston, NL A0E1K0). A burial was held on Monday, September 7th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the St. Michael's Anglican Cemetery.
