He is survived by: his children-in-law, Kevin and Alicia; his grandchildren, Tuyanna, Luke, Tommy, Olivia, Chloe, Joey, Claudia, Jack and Haylee; his wife Hannah; his children, Tina, Tammy, Tonya and Trent; his siblings, Alice Simpson, Ada Poole (Jack) and Eric Hackett (Eileen); his siblings-in-law, Stella Clements (Max), Liz LeDrew (John), Myrtle Hackett (Jim), Regina Billings (Bud), Ida Tulk, Isabelle Blackmore, Eileen Legrow, Jack Hickey and Joe Hickey; his great-nephew Nick Hardiman; his brother-in-law Jim Hackett; and his nephew Glen Simpson.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Peninsula Funeral Home (4 Markland Rd, Creston, NL A0E1K0). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church (286 Ville Marie Dr, Marystown, NL A0E2M0).
