He was predeceased by: his father Rendell Ducey; and his sister Dianne. He is survived by: his sons, Shane Ducey (Kerstin Isaacs) of Marystown and Benjamin Ducey (Chantelle Barter) of Marystown; his grandchildren, Keagan, Rendell, Declan and Norah Jean; his siblings, Chris (Cindy), Paul (Joanne), Larry, Lisa (Jason), Renee (Will), Tammy and Beverley; Audrey Ducey of Marystown.
