She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph; her parents, Isabella Young and Albert Young; her parents-in-law, Dinah and Heber Hodder; her siblings, Jessie Hodder, Martha Beck, George White, Joseph White, Stephen Young and Jim Young; and her siblings-in-law, Minnie Bond and Ken Benson.
She is survived by: her children, Ivy Young (Geddis) of Smith's Harbour, NL, Aubrey Hodder (Wanda) of Marystown, Noreen Banfield (Roger) of Marystown, Dean Hodder (Tracy) of Springdale and Jo-Anne Hodder (Nickum Young) of Morring Cove; her grandchildren, Deanne, Joey (Amanda), Kyle (Megan), Kelsey (Vincent), Hilary, Jake, Josh (Caitlin), Colby (Kaylee), Jody, Kurtis (Brandon) and Nicky (Morgan); her great grandchildren, Jaxson, Alexis, Jayson and Violet; her great great grandchildren, Syrilla and Armani; and her siblings-in-law, Jenny Hodder (Anthony), Addie Hodge (John), Ann Benson, Myrtle Kelly (Bill), Brenda Avery (Stan), Tom Hodder (Ann Marie), Sam Hodder (Mary) and Frank Bond.
