She was predeceased by: her husband Aloysius Brenton; her children, Randy Brenton and Vivian Thistle (Ed); her grandson Stephen Brenton; her parents, William Burton and Agnes Burton; and her siblings, Almena Reynolds, Phyllis O'Keefe (Lawrence), Patrick Burton (Mary), Thomas Burton (Doreen) and Edward Burton.
She is survived by: her children, Aubrey Brenton (Phyllis) of St. John's, Calvin Brenton (Donna) of Marystown, Cindy Ducey (Chris) of Marystown and Mary Nolan (Roger) of Calgary, AB; her grandchildren, Kim Brenton (Jim), Stephanie Murphy (Mike), Darren Brenton (Kim), Kristen Nolan (Craig), Tiffany Ducey and Patrick Brenton (Jada); her great grandchildren, Olivia, Kye, Amara, Madison, Reese, Braxton, Jett and Emme; her daughter-in-law Gena Rutledge (Lett Brenton) of Georgia; her sisters, Adela English of Ontario and Florence Donaway of Mount Pearl; and her sister-in-law Jane Aupaluktuq.
