She was predeceased by: her husband John Dober; her parents, Mary Brown and Thomas Brown; her parents-in-law, Josephine and Daniel Dober; her siblings, Theresa Dennis (Graham), Philip Brown, Rose Kelly (Richard), Thomas Brown and Stan Brown (Anne); and her siblings-in-law, Agnes Power, Shirley Brown of Burin, Susie Farrell (Randolph), Gladys Edwards (Richard), George Tobin and Pad Dimmer.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Hanrahan (Derrick) of Little Bay and Bradley Dober of Edmonton; her close friend Tommy Mallay; her grandson Tristan; her stepgrandchildren, Monique Norman (Darren) and Derrick Hanrahan Jr. of Edmonton; her siblings, Marion Tobin of St. Lawrence, Fred Brown of Salt Pond and Alec Brown of Salt Pond; and her sisters-in-law, Emily Brown of Salt Pond and Mary Dimmer of Halifax.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 2nd 2026 from 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM, on Sunday, May 3rd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM at the Wiseman's Funeral Homes - Marystown (20-22 Creston Blvd #20, Marystown, NL A0E2M0). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, May 4th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church (286 Ville Marie Dr, Marystown, NL A0E2M0). A burial was held on Monday, May 4th 2026 at 3:30 PM at the Sacred Heart RC Cemetery - Little Bay.
