She was predeceased by: her parents, Anneliza Mitchell and Vincent Mitchell; her siblings, Anthony Mitchell, Thomas Mitchell (Maude), Hughie Mitchell (Bride), Philomena Mitchell, Susanna Hannam (Johnny) and Ita Cusick (Alonzo); and her brother-in-law Jack Carey.
She is survived by: her siblings, Theresa Carey of Corner Brook and Patrick Mitchell (Lolita) of Ontario.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 27th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM at the Wiseman's Funeral Homes - Marystown (20-22 Creston Blvd #20, Marystown, NL A0E2M0). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, February 28th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church (286 Ville Marie Dr, Marystown, NL A0E2M0). The inurnment was held on Saturday, February 28th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Cemetery - Marystown Ville (286 Ville Marie Dr, Marystown, NL A0E2M0).
