She was predeceased by: her husband Harold Brushett; her parents, James Thornhill and Marjorie Thornhill; her parents-in-law, John Joe and Ellen Brushett; her brother Randy Thornhill; her siblings-in-law, Sandra Brushett, Clara Thornhill, Clyde Scott, Melvin Brushett and Max Strickland; and her close friend Joyce King.

She is survived by: her children, Bert Brushett (Karen) of Jacques Fontaine, Sharon Brushett-Saunders (Paul) of St. Anthony and Michelle Dalton (Rick); her grandchildren, Sarah (Shane), Steven (Kristin), Ashley Rose (David) and Mark; her great grandchildren, Zachery, Chloe and Claire; her siblings, Cora Scott, Winston (Rose), Baxter, Eddie (Doreen), Tony (Linda) and Ron (Darlene); her siblings-in-law, Rendall Brushett (Claire), John Brushett (Connie), Edna Strickland, Solonge Hillier (Henry) and Mary Brushett; and her close friend Zoey.
