Stephen David Stapleton Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Stephen David Stapleton of Marystown, Newfoundland, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 25, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank and Catherine; his brother John A.; his niece Vanessa; his parents-in-law, Ephriam and Catherine; and his brother-in-law Wayne.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda; his children, Natasha (Ted) and Stephen (Georgette); his grandchildren, Rachel, Max and Victoria; and his siblings, Kevin (Shirley), Ada, Al (Isabelle), Elizabeth, Delores, Noreen (Allan), Theresa (Dan), Marlene (Danny), Ann, Alex (Shannon), Frank (Wendy), Geoff (Sandy), Dennis (Josie), Dorothy and Cora (Dave). He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM at the Wiseman's Funeral Homes - Marystown (20-22 Creston Blvd #20, Marystown, NL A0E2M0). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, November 29th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church (286 Ville Marie Dr, Marystown, NL A0E2M0).
