He was predeceased by: his parents, Cyril Drake and Maryann Drake; his parents-in-law, Leonard and Annie Kelly; his brother Pat Drake; and his siblings-in-law, Eddie Fitzpatrick, George Hooper, Thomas Kelly, Betty Brenton (Henry) and Maureen Kelly.
He is survived by: his wife Geraldine Drake; his daughters, Kelly Keating (AJ) and Lindsey Vaughan (Rob) of Calgary, AB; his grandchildren, Liam, Lola, Ella, Emery and Annie; his siblings, Maggie Fitzpatrick of Marystown, Lee Miller (Jerome) of Marystown, Wally Drake (Daphne) of Marystown, Mary Downey (Pete) of Marystown and Annette Brake (Tom); and his siblings-in-law, Kathleen Dober (Howard) of Marystown and Len Kelly (Vonnie) of Nova Scotia.
