We are sad to announce that on April 13, 2024, at the age of 95, Ellen Power of Marysvale, Newfoundland passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her husband James Power; her parents, Ellen Pretty (Peddle) and James Pretty; and her siblings, Don, Elizebeth, Ida, Agnes, Lucy, Suzane, Josephine, Viola and Sarah.

She is survived by : her children, Mary (late Dave), Frank (Cindy), Don (Connie), Ed (Carolyn), Jimmy, Ann Marie (Len), Karen (Randy), Helen (Barry), Lorraine (Glen), Doug (Agnes), Corina (Roy) and Ida; her grandchildren, Tracie, David, Kelly, Raymond, Danielle, Amy, Amanda, Grace, Faith, Cory, Matthew, Holly, Emma, Josh, Jesse, Nicholas, Hailey, Jamie, Selena, Julie, Ethan and Logan; her daughters, Carolyn and Jackie (Alicia); and her caregiver Katie. She is also survived by Sister-in-law Bride Power and her Mahers family.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 15th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Tuesday, April 16th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM at the Broughton's Funeral Home (17 Station Rd, Brigus, NL A0A 1K0). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Our Lady of the Snows Church.
