He was predeceased by : his parents, William and Marguerite. He is survived by : his wife Dorothy; his sons, Michael (Jenn) and Jonathan; his siblings-in-law, Lorene, Sylvia, Lorne (Sandra), Raymond (Jean), Keith and David (Denise); his friend Paul Long; and his cousin Paula Corbett.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Alzheimer Society of Newfoundland and Labrador.
